Benefits of Membership 1/3 of all scholarship dollars come from the roughly 1,000 donors who support the Big Blue Scholarship Fund. Over $1.0 million dollars are generated annually from the Big Blue Scholarship Fund. Tax Deduction All gifts to the Big Blue Scholarship Fund (BBSF) are tax deductible as allowed by federal income tax laws. The IRS allows an 80% tax deduction for charitable gifts given to an educational institution where, as a result of such contribution, the donor receives preferred seating and parking rights for athletic events. You may decline any benefit and receive a 100% tax deduction by calling the BBSF office (435-797-BLUE). Donors should consult their tax advisor. Game Program Recognition All members of the BBSF are recognized, by giving level, in the football and basketball game programs, provided the contribution is received by May 30 of each year for football program recognition and August 15 for basketball program recognition. Thank You Package Each member will receive a thank you package which includes a membership card and a certificate for a unique Aggie gift, provided the donation is received prior to August 15. Aggie Updates All members will receive a monthly newsletter via email as well as BBSF event information and invites. Priority/Scholarship Seating In football and men's basketball, there are designated seats that require a per-seat donation to the Scholarship Fund as well as the purchase of a season ticket. Please see the charts on pages 5 and 6 for a breakdown of the per-seat donation requirements. Scholarship Parking Season ticket holders, who are members of the BBSF, receive a parking pass for their level of giving to football and/or men's basketball games. Lost passes cannot be replaced. Parking passes and parking maps will be sent with season tickets. Membership Benefits
