LOGAN, Utah -
The Chick-fil-A® restaurant in Logan invites the community to support an upcoming fundraiser for Utah State University's own "Wild Bill" Sproat on Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Famous for his outlandish antics, costumes and theatrics at Aggie men's basketball games, Wild Bill became ill last year and was placed in a critical intensive care unit for heart complications. After spending nearly a month in the hospital, Wild Bill is back at school, back on the Aggie sideline and back with more than $250,000 in hospital bills.
The Logan Chick-fil-A restaurant will join the community to assist one of its own local celebrities help raise funds to meet his medical needs. On April 16 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the restaurant will donate 10 percent of sales to assist Wild Bill in his ongoing recovery efforts. The afternoon will feature performances from USU Aggie cheerleaders, live bands and an all-day appearance from Wild Bill. The restaurant will also accept donations.
For questions or more information, call the restaurant at (435) 755-8300. To view Wild Bill's personal blog, visit wildbillsproat.wordpress.com
