Fourth Utah State Student-Athlete Released From Hospital Following Last Week’s Car Crash
Former Utah State softball player Sarah Vasquez (Colton, Calif.) was released from the hospital Saturday, nine days following a car crash in Cache Valley on Friday, June 26.

Former Utah State softball player Sarah Vasquez (Colton, Calif.) was released from the hospital Saturday, nine days following a car crash in Cache Valley on Friday, June 26.

Vasquez (Colton, Calif.) is the fourth USU student-athlete released from the hospital as redshirt freshman defensive lineman Adewale Adeoye (Ada-wally A-day-o-yah) from St. Louis, Mo., and senior defensive lineman John Taylor (Colton, Calif.) were both released from the hospital on Sunday, June 28, while redshirt junior defensive lineman Edmund Faimalo (Fie-mah-lo) from Riverside, Calif., was released from the hospital this past Tuesday, June 30.

Senior defensive lineman Travis Seefeldt (Peoria, Ariz.), the fifth USU student-athlete involved in the crash, continues to improve but remains in the hospitals.

More information on Seefeldt’s condition will be sent out when available.
