Senior outside Lauren Anderson is among the returners after earning all-Mountain West honors last season. Anderson led the USU offense with 377 kills and ranked among the top 10 in the Mountain West with 3.52 kills per set a year ago. The Aggies also return senior opposite Kayla DeCoursey and senior middle Carly Lenzen, as the duo finished third and fourth on the team last season, totaling 255 and 186 kills, respectively. Utah State returns even more depth in the attack in junior middle Lauren O’Brien and senior outside Rachel Gale. O’Brien was fifth on the team last season with 159 kills. Gale led the Utah State attack as a sophomore in 2015 with 355 kills and a team-best 1,186 attempts.
