Last Week
• Utah State opened its 2015 campaign with a pair of home shutouts last weekend as it defeated Central Arkansas (1-0) and Missouri State (3-0). Junior forward Jessica Brooksby scored the lone goal for USU against CAU, scoring early in the first half on a straight shot from 30 yards out. Against MSU, the Aggies scored three goals in the second half. Freshman midfielder Jordyn Chung-Hoon put USU on the board first, scoring in the 72nd minute. A free kick found Brooksby with the ball, passing through to Chung-Hoon for the assist. The offensive surge continued just eight minutes later, as freshman forward Sydnie Dolzine found the perfect chance to attack and slide the ball past the Missouri State keeper. Later, sophomore midfielder Wesley Hamblin cemented the win in the 89th minute of the match, as she connected flawlessly on a sideline throw-in from junior defender Karlee Campbell-Zollinger.
