Tyler Knowles Named Director of Marketing at Utah State

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Athletics has announced the addition of Tyler Knowles to the marketing staff, joining the Aggies by way of Nicholls State in Thibodaux, La.

While at Nicholls, Knowles had a dual role of director of marketing and ticket operations, coordinating all ticket sales and integrating marketing plans for each of the Colonels’ 14 sports. Knowles was also responsible for the social media platforms for the athletic department, including sponsorship activations with Colonel Sports Properties, providing graphic design for digital and social use, as well as schedule posters and game day graphics.

Prior to Nicholls, Knowles worked with the event management and sports information departments at the University of Oklahoma while pursuing his undergraduate and post-graduate degrees. While at Oklahoma, Knowles was a member of the staff that provided assistance at eight NCAA or Big 12 postseason events.

Knowles graduated from Oklahoma with a degree in journalism and mass communication and a master’s degree in intercollegiate athletics administration.

“I am extremely excited about joining the Utah State Athletics Department,” Knowles said. “I look forward to being a part of an already successful program and continuing to build upon the success and tradition of Utah State Athletics, while enhancing the overall experience for our student-athletes, supporters and members of the Logan community.”
