Andrew Dickinson Named Assistant AD for Major Gifts
Nov. 3, 2016 LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Athletics has announced the addition of Andrew Dickinson as the Assistant Athletic Director for Major Gifts. Dickinson is joining the Aggies after working in the private sector over the past year.

Dickinson worked with the Keyence Corporation in sales, managing and cultivating an annual sales goal in addition to building and sustaining relationships for various key accounts. Dickinson ended the year increasing the sales goal and was named the Rookie of the Year based on sales achievement, team collaboration and professionalism.

Prior to working for Keyence, Dickinson was a member of the development staff at Troy, working as the associate director. Dickinson helped to implement the Trojan Warrior Fund and was a part of a team that rebranded the athletic annual fund that enhanced the stewardship of all donors. Dickinson also worked with premium seating for football, basketball and baseball and organized all athletic development events, including the Larry Blakeney golf tournament, hall of fame banquet and the Trojan Tour.

Dickinson also worked with the alumni affairs office at Troy, organizing events surrounding tailgates, conference, chapter membership and alumni weekends. Dickinson helped to form new alumni chapters and revived chapters that had become inactive and served as a liaison for more than 130,000 Troy alumni worldwide.

Dickinson earned both his master’s and undergraduate degrees from Troy, graduating with an M.S. in sport and fitness management in 2011 and a B.S. in sport and fitness management in 2009. Dickinson was a graduate assistant with development during his final two years of school, helping with all facets of donor relations and extended into the ticket office, helping with day-to-day operations and season ticket renewals for football, basketball and baseball.

Dickinson was a member of the Troy baseball team, appearing in 35 games and pitching 146.1 innings, while recording 90 strikeouts and a record of 10-7 over the course of three years. Dickinson married his wife, Jessica, in August of 2016, and the couple resides in Logan.

“I want to thank Director of Athletics John Hartwell and Deputy Athletics Director Jana Doggett for the opportunity to work with Aggie Nation,” Dickinson said. “I look forward to building off of the successful foundation that has already been established at Utah State and I’m excited to get out and meet all of our great Aggie donors.”
