This Week
Sat., Nov. 29 --- at Boise State, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN2)
• Utah State football (9-3, 6-1 MW) will conclude its regular season and Mountain West play this weekend at Boise State (9-2, 6-1 MW) on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 8:15 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. USU is 4-14 all-time against the Broncos, including a 2-7 road record.

W, 41-7 --- SAN JOSÉ STATE
• Freshman QB Kent Myers accounted for four touchdowns and junior WR JoJo Natson rushed for a career-high 124 yards in leading Utah State (9-3, 6-1 MW) to a 41-7 Mountain West home win against San Jose State (3-8, 2-5) last weekend. Myers rushed for a career-high 92 yards on just four carries and scored three rushing touchdowns on runs of 28, 60 and two yards. Myers also threw one touchdown pass as he finished the game 15-of-22 passing for 108 yards. Natson carried the ball just seven times in posting his career-high 124 rushing yards, which included a 56-yard touchdown run. Senior RB Joe Hill added 54 yards on 15 carries and freshman RB LaJuan Hunt had 43 yards on eight carries as USU rushed for a season-high 313 yards in the game. Utah State finished the game with 421 yards of total offense (313-rushing, 108-passing) as it has now rushed for at least 200 yards in each of its last four games. Tyler Ervin had 104 rushing yards on 22 carries for San Jose State as the Spartans had just 252 yards of total offense (191-rushing, 61-passing), including just 66 yards in the second-half. Senior LB Zach Vigil led Utah State's defense as he recorded 19 tackles, which included 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. Overall, it was Vigil's seventh double-digit tackle outing of the season and the 18th of his career. Sophomore LB Nick Vigil added 12 stops.

Tues., Nov. 25 --- BOISE STATE, 7 p.m.
• Utah State's volleyball team (12-16, 8-9 MW) will conclude its 2014 season with a Mountain West home match against Boise State (18-11, 11-6) on Tuesday Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. USU is 17-19 all-time against the Broncos.

L, 0-3 --- at San Diego State
• Utah State went 0-2 last week in Mountain West play with a home loss to UNLV (3-0) and a road loss at San Diego State (3-0). Against the Rebels, senior MB Kaitlyn VanHoff had 10 kills and five blocks and hit .400 (10-2-20), while sophomore LIB Hannah Gleason had 13 digs. USU hit .100 (33-20-130) in the match and UNLV hit .284 (46-13-116). Against the Aztecs, senior OH Rachel Orr had six kills and eight digs. USU hit .169 (24-11-77) in the match and SDSU hit .388 (51-13-98).

Wed., Nov. 26 --- at UC Davis, 8 p.m. (MT)
• Utah State men's basketball (3-1) will continue its 2014-15 season with a road game at UC Davis (3-0) on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. (MT). USU is 2-0 all-time against the Aggies, including a 0-0 road record.

W, 60-54 --- SANTA CLARA
L, 63-71 --- at Mississippi State
• Utah State posted a 1-1 record last week with a 60-54 home win against Santa Clara, followed by a 71-63 road loss at Mississippi State. Against the Broncos, sophomore wing Jalen Moore had 15 points and six rebounds, while junior guard Chris Smith scored a season-high 14 points to go along with a season-best eight rebounds, and sophomore guard JoJo McGlaston added a career-high 10 points. USU finished the game shooting just 34.8 percent (16-46), but was 7-of-17 (.412) from three-point range and 21-of-29 (.724) at the free throw line. SCU shot 36.4 percent (20-55), including 25.0 percent from behind the three-point line (6-24), and was just 8-of-14 (.571) at the free throw line. Against the Bulldogs, junior guard Darius Perkins scored a season-high 14 points, Smith also scored 14 points, and Moore added 13 points. USU finished the game shooting 42.6 percent from the floor (20-47), 37.0 percent from behind the arc (10-27) and a season-high 76.5 percent from the free throw line (13-17). MSU shot 46.2 percent (24-52), including 26.7 percent from three-point range (4-15) and 70.4 percent from the free throw line (19-27).

• Utah State women's basketball (1-2) continues its 2014-15 season this weekend in Waco, Texas at the BTI Classic hosted by Baylor. USU will begin the tournament on Friday, Nov. 28 against the host Bears (1-1) at 6 p.m. (MT). USU will then face Marist (0-2) on Saturday, Nov. 29 at a time yet to be determined, and will then conclude the tournament on Sunday, Nov. 30 against Stetson (3-0) at 11 a.m. (MT). USU has never faced any of the teams at the 2014 BTI Classic.

W, 79-61 --- UTAH VALLEY
• Utah State posted a 79-61 home win against Utah Valley in its only game last week. Against the Wolverines, senior forward Ingrida Strikes scored a career-high 18 points, junior guard Makenlee Williams had 15 points, junior guard/forward Stephanie Bairstow scored 13 points and freshman guard Funda Nakkasoglu had a season-high 11 points, while junior forward Tijana Djukic had a career-high 11 rebounds. Overall, USU shot 43.0 percent (34-79), including a three-point percentage of 28.6 percent (4-14) and was 58.3 percent from the free throw line (7-12). UVU shot just 39.7 percent (25-63), hitting 26.7 percent of shots from behind the arc (4-15) and 58.3 percent from the free throw line (7-12).

NTS--- at NCAA Championships, Terre Haute, Ind.
• Utah State senior harrier Eric Shellhorn concluded his Aggie cross country career by placing 97th out of 246 runners at the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Championships held last weekend in Terre Haute, Ind. Shellhorn finished the 10 kilometer race with a time of 31.30.4. Shellhorn is only the sixth USU cross country runner to make it to the championships since 2000, joining Brian McKenna (2011), Trevor Ball (2005), Tiffany Strickland (2005), Mike Nielson (2003) and Ashley Johnson (2003).
