Utah State men's basketball (3-4) continues its 2016-17 season with two games this week as it hosts Great Falls (7-2) on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m., and plays at Utah Valley (5-2) on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. The home game against Great Falls will be streamed live via www.UtahStateAggies.com/videos and the game at Utah Valley can be seen online at wacsports.com/watch. USU is 0-0 all-time against Great Falls, and 11-0 all-time against UVU, including a 5-0 road record.

Utah State lost both of its games last week with a 77-63 defeat to BYU at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, followed by a 62-61 defeat at home to Indiana State. Against the Cougars, senior wing Jalen Moore scored 15 points to lead the Aggies as the team shot 41.3 percent (26-of-63) from the floor, 26.3 percent (5-of-19) from behind the 3-point line and 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from the free throw line. BYU finished the game shooting 35.2 percent (25-of-71) from the floor, 20.0 percent (4-of-20) from behind the 3-point line and 85.2 percent (23-of-27) from the free throw line and out-rebounded the Aggies by 24 (55-31). Against the Sycamores, senior guard Shane Rector led four Aggies in double figures with 14 points and added five rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block as USU shot 37.3 percent (22-of-59) from the floor, 23.8 percent (5-of-21) from behind the 3-point line and 63.2 percent (12-of-19) from the free throw line. Indiana State recorded a layup with two seconds left to win the game and shot 37.7 percent (23-of-61) from the floor, 37.9 percent (11-of-29) from behind the 3-point line and 55.6 percent (5-of-9) from the free throw line.

USU is 7-3 all-time against the Wolverines and 3-34 all-time against the Cougars.

Utah State posted a 1-1 record last week as it defeated Idaho State at home (69-56) before falling to Utah on the road (65-58). Against the Bengals, sophomore guard Rachel Brewster led the Aggies with a career-best 22 points, the second 20-point game of her career. Freshman guard Olivia West joined her in double figures, also recording a career-high with 15 points. Freshman guard Shannon Dufficy led the team with eight rebounds. Overall, USU shot 39.3 percent (24-of-61) from the field, including a season-high 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from the 3-point line, and was 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the free throw line. ISU shot 34.0 percent (18-of-53) from the field, 27.3 percent (6-of-22) from behind the arc and 70.0 percent (14-of-20) from the free throw line. Against the Utes, Dufficy led the Aggies with 11 points. She was joined in double figures by Brewster, who tallied 10 points despite fouling out halfway through the third quarter. Brewster and senior forward Antoina Robinson were the top rebounders for the Aggies, adding five apiece. Against the Utes, USU shot 43.1 percent (25-of-58) from the field, including 16.7 percent (2-of-12) from the 3-point line, and was 85.7 percent (6-of-7) from the free throw line. Utah shot 37.9 percent (22-of-58) from the field, 25.0 percent (5-of-20) from behind the arc and 66.7 percent (16-of-24) from the free throw line.
