Sat., Dec. 18 --- at Utah Valley, 7 p.m. (CW30)
• Utah State (7-2) will have just one game this week as it plays at Utah Valley (4-5) on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. The game against the Wolverines will be televised live on CW30. USU is 5-0 all-time against the UVU including a 2-0 record on the road.

W, 77-58 --- CAL STATE BAKERSFIELD
• Utah State went 2-0 last week as it defeated Long Beach State (81-53) and Cal State Bakersfield (77-58) in a pair of home games. Against the 49ers, senior forward Tai Wesley recorded his first double-double of the season with 16 points and a career-high 14 rebounds to go along with a season-high six assists. Senior guard/forward Pooh Williams had a career-high 19 points and tied his career-high with six assists, and senior guard Brian Green scored 13 points. USU finished the game by shooting 49.2 percent (31-63), including 38.5 percent from three (10-26) and 69.2 percent at the free throw line (9-13). LBSU shot just 32.8 percent (19-58), including 25.0 percent from behind the arc (5-20) and 83.3 percent at the charity stripe (10-12). Against the Roadrunners, Wesley posted another double-double as he had 16 points and 12 rebounds, while fellow senior forward Nate Bendall had his first double-double of the year with 13 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Senior guard Tyler Newbold scored a season-high 18 points, while Williams added 12 points and Jardine had 11 rebounds. USU finished the game by shooting 41.9 percent (26-62), including 31.3 percent from three-point range (5-16) and 64.5 percent at the free throw line (20-31). CSB shot 39.3 percent (24-61), including 41.7 percent from behind the arc (5-12) and 45.5 percent at the charity stripe (5-11).

• Utah State (5-5) will return to action on Monday, Dec. 20 when it hosts South Dakota State (4-5) at 12 p.m. USU will also host Wyoming (6-2) next week on Thursday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. The Aggies will be playing SDSU for the first-time ever and is 4-13 all-time against the Cowgirls.

• Utah State went 1-1 last week in a pair of home games as it defeated San Francisco (77-71) and lost to Idaho State (64-52). Against the Dons, junior forward Ashlee Brown posted her third double-double of the season with 21 points and 14 rebounds, sophomore guard Devyn Christensen added a career-high 14 points off the bench, and freshman guard Jennifer Schlott scored 11 points and dished out five assists. Sophomore center Banna Diop also scored in double-figures for USU as she had 10 points to go along with eight rebounds. USU finished the game by shooting 43.1 percent (28-65), including 62.5 percent from three-point range (5-8) and 64.0 percent at the free throw line (16-25). USF shot 46.6 percent (27-58), including 40.9 percent from behind the arc (9-22) and 80.0 percent at the charity stripe (8-10). Against the Bengals, Brown posted another double-double as she had 17 points and 15 rebounds to go along with three blocked shots. Senior guard/forward Amber White scored 13 points and senior guard Alice Coddington had 10 points, six rebounds and five steals. USU shot 32.2 percent (19-59) for the game, including 16.7 percent from three (3-18) and 78.6 percent at the free throw line. ISU shot 44.7 percent from the field (21-47), 50.0 percent from three-point range (7-14) and 75.0 percent at the free throw line (15-20).
