Beginning his fourth year as an Assistant Athletics Director and Executive Director of the Big Blue Scholarship Fund at Utah State is Corey Ansfield, who started in the department in March, 2012.
In his role, he is responsible for the operations and donor relations with the membership of the Big Blue Scholarship Fund. While trying to recruit new donors to the program, Ansfield also runs USU’s Big Blue fund drive, the Jr. Aggie program, golf tournaments and the annual Aggie Auction. He also oversees the ticket office operations.
Ansfield came to Utah State after spending one year as a development assistant in the Rebel Athletic Fund at UNLV where he was responsible for increasing annual membership through priority seating and sport specific giving. Ansfield began his athletics career at Illinois State where he was involved in ticket operations.
A native of Oshkosh, Wis., Ansfield graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marian (Wis.) University where he played baseball. He later received his master’s degree in sports management from Illinois State.
