Utah State University Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Class

The six inductees include: Candy Cashell, USU's first female track All-American; Jim Laub, a life-long contributor of Aggie Athletics; Jimmy Moore, one of the best Aggie basketball players ever; Corey Murdock, one of just two track athletes in school history to earn All-American honors at least four times; Roy Shivers, an All-American running back; and Jim Turner, an outstanding quarterback and kicker.

Utah State University Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame Announces 2012 Class

The dinner and induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame's 10th class is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at the Riverwoods Conference Center in Logan.

Jana Doggett is entering her seventh year with the Utah State Athletics Department and second as Executive Associate Athletics Director after spending her first five years as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations.

With her new position, Doggett is the athletics departments' second-in-command. She will continue to oversee the department's external operations, which includes marketing, event management, media relations, Aggie Sports Properties and the ticket office. She will also continue to supervise the sports of softball, soccer and volleyball, along with the additions of men's and women's tennis, and continue in her role as Senior Woman Administrator.

Prior to her current position, Doggett spent 11 years in the athletics department at San Diego State, from 1993-2003, including six years as an associate director of athletics. She also worked at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society San Diego Area Chapter and for the City of San Diego in the Corporate Sponsorship and Development Program.

At San Diego State she supervised all 18 of the athletic department's head coaches as well as the ticket office, marketing and promotions, financial aid, academics, compliance, event management, video production, weight and equipment rooms, sports medicine and business services.

Doggett graduated with a degree in speech communication from San Diego State University. She was born and raised in Nezperce, Idaho before moving to Visalia, Calif., for her junior high and high school years.

Doggett married current USU assistant men's basketball coach Tarvish Felton on May 28, 2011 and the couple has a 13-year old daughter, DeAubrey Ann Bowers.
