The six inductees include: Candy Cashell, USU's first female track All-American; Jim Laub, a life-long contributor of Aggie Athletics; Jimmy Moore, one of the best Aggie basketball players ever; Corey Murdock, one of just two track athletes in school history to earn All-American honors at least four times; Roy Shivers, an All-American running back; and Jim Turner, an outstanding quarterback and kicker.

Jimmy Moore is entering his fourth year in the Utah State Athletics Department, and second year as an Assistant Athletics Director for Special Projects, after joining the staff in July, 2011. In his first two years with USU Athletics, Moore oversaw financial aid for all of USU's student-athletes, monitored and ensured institutional compliance with NCAA rules, provided interpretations and education of NCAA and Mountain West Conference rules to both student-athletes and coaches, and directed the student-athlete mentoring program.

Moore began his affiliation with Utah State as a student-athlete on the men's basketball team from 1972-75, helping the Aggies to the 1975 NCAA Tournament. He finished his career with 1,164 points and 652 rebounds and still ranks 24th all-time in school history in scoring and 15th all-time in rebounding. In 2005, Moore was one of 16 Aggie greats named to USU's All-Century basketball team and in 2013 was inducted into USU's Athletics Hall of Fame as a member of its 11th class.

Following his collegiate career, Moore spent two years in the NBA with the Seattle SuperSonics and 10 years playing oversees before returning to Logan as an assistant basketball coach for Rod Tueller in 1987. Moore then spent four seasons (1989-92) on Kohn Smith's staff before beginning his administrative career on campus.

From 1992 to 2001, Moore served as the Associate Director of Admissions for Utah State before being promoted to the Director of Admissions and Scholarships, a capacity he served in for four years. He then spent one year as the Director of Outreach for Student-Services followed by four years as the Student Involvement Officer and one year as an associate director within the Access and Diversity Center.

A native of Leakesville, Miss., Moore graduated from Utah State with a bachelor's degree in physical education and a master's degree in education. He and his wife Debra are the parents of two sons, Grayson (20) and Jalen (18). Grayson transferred to Utah State and will sit out the 2014-15 basketball season, while Jalen will be a sophomore on USU's basketball team this fall.
