Aggie Head Coach Earns Second Mountain Region Coach Of The Year Honor
Nick Karren enters his second year helping at Utah State
working primarily with the hurdlers.
Karren was a stand-out athlete for the Aggies from 2006-10,
competing at the NCAA Outdoor Championships three times
(2007, 2009, 2010).
Additionally, Karren is a seven-time Western Athletic Con-
ference champion including winning the 400 meter hurdles in
2007, 2009 and 2010.
He also ranks at No. 4 in USU history in the indoor 60 meter
hurdles along with having the seventh-best time in the 400m
and the ninth-best time in the 200m. In the Utah State outdoor
top 10 Karren has two spots, No. 4 in the 400 meter hurdles
and No. 5 in the 110 meter hurdles.
Karren is a native of Duchesne, Utah and attended Duch-
esne High School.
