Sixty-Four Utah State Student-Athletes Set To Graduate This Weekend

Among those student-athletes graduating are 24 football players, 17 track athletes, five women's basketball players, four each from both soccer and softball, three each from both men's basketball, and men's and women's tennis, two golfers, one gymnast and one volleyball player.

Utah State Recognizes 197 Student-Athletes At Annual Whitesides Luncheon

In all, approximately 51 percent of USU's student-athletes earned a 3.2 GPA to qualify for the awards.

Utah State: Competed in the javelin in 2007 and 2011, while also earning academic all-WAC honors in 2007 and 2011.
High School: Two-time track letterwinner... Received academic all-state... Also played basketball and volleyball... Graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Personal: Major is interior design with a minor in Portuguese.
