COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Utah State's Ryan Bruhn produced the second-best performance in school history in the weight throw, while two Aggie freshman women won events at the Air Force Track and Field Invitational on Saturday.

Bruhn won the meet's weight throw with a toss of 63 feet and 11 inches. Former Aggie All-American James Parker is the only Aggie to have thrown farther than that at USU.

Amy Egan, a freshman Latrobe, Pa. claimed the women's 800-meters in 2:19.05, while Jennifer Brown, another freshman from LaPine, Ore, edged teammate Alana Geisler in winning the pole vault with a mark of 11-07.75.

As a team, the women finished fifth among 13 squads, while the Aggie men were ninth out of 13. Both Colorado State's men and women took the team titles.
