NAMPA, Idaho - Utah State's men and women's track & field teams won three events on Saturday, the final day of the Boise State hosted Jacksons/New Balance Invitational at Jacksons Indoor Track Facility in Nampa, Idaho.

Sophomore Nic Bowens won the men's 60m dash with time of 6.86, while senior Tyler Killpack clocked a time of 1:52.51 to win the men's 800m. Sophomore Jodi Williams led the USU women as she cleared 1.65m (5-05.00) to win the women's high jump. Sophomores Rachel Orr and Mariah Thompson also cleared 1.65m (5-05.00), but Orr was awarded a tie for second-place and Thompson claimed sixth-place, respectively, on judge's decision.

"I think we improved on what we did last weekend. The first meet jitters were out of them and they really came through and focused on what they wanted to do," said veteran Aggie coach Gregg Gensel. "We had a lot of great performances across the board today."

Junior Kylie Hirschi also placed in the top-six for the Utah State women as she crossed the finish line in the 800m with a time of 2:18.27 to finish fifth.

On the men's side, junior Silas Pimentel placed second in the 60m (6.90), while freshman Cole Lambourne finished fourth in the 400m (48.24). Seniors Jon Goble and Sam Hawkins tabbed second and fourth-place finishes in the heptathlon with point totals of 4,942 and 4,066, respectively.
