"We had a lot of great performances today with athletes stepping up and doing well," said USU veteran head coach Gregg Gensel. "We have a good sprint group with Lewis, Pimentel and Pyrtle who train really well together and work well together. They feed off each other and I am pleased with how they are doing. For the field events Spencer Hall and Shannon Prince did really well today. We do have a little work to do as is the case in a lot of events, but we are making improvements which has to happen. We want our teams to make progress and that is why we came to this meet. All of our kids were challenged and that is how they get better."
