LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's track teams, along with four other teams will meet in Pocatello, Idaho on Saturday, Jan. 14, to compete in the Snake River Open. Team's competing include Idaho State, Utah, Utah Valley State, and Weber State.

Head USU Track and Field Coach, Gregg Gensel said this meet is a real low-key meet and "what we expect is just to have an idea where everyone is and for the athletes to see where they are at."

Gensel said he wants everyone to get a meet "under their belt" and then after he said they will talk about expectations.

For the men's team USU returns Trever Ball, Clark Bryner, Justin Wickard, and Dustin Vetica, who all had top five finishes in the WAC Indoor Championships last season.

For the women's team USU returns Carrie Bitton-Yost and Amber Judd, who also had top five finishes in the WAC Indoor Championships last season.

USU returns to Logan next week to host a meet on Sat., Jan. 21 in the Nelson Fieldhouse.
