LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's track & field teams will split up again this weekend to compete at three meets across the country. The Aggies will send athletes to the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Invitational and the Iowa State-hosted Iowa State Classic on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9-10, while other members of the team will compete at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 10.

Links to schedules and heat sheets, as well as live results and available live streams will be posted on UtahStateAggies.com

The Aggies will send a few distance runners to Ames, Iowa, to compete at a lower elevation, while the rest of the competitors will be split up fairly equally between the remaining two venues.

Last week, junior thrower Brenn Flint broke her own school record in the shot put, posting a mark of 16.30 meters (53-5.75) to win the event at the Jackson's NB Invitational in Nampa, Idaho. Flint led the way as the Aggies collected a total of six event titles.

Flint was joined in first-place honors by freshman Kasia Lawrynowicz, who won the 400m race with a personal-best time of 56.60, and junior high-jumper Jennifer Christensen, who claimed the event title by clearing a career-best height of 1.66m (5-5.25).

On the men's side, sophomore Dylan Barker won the 800m race with a time of 1:53.18, before running second on the men's 4x400m relay team that won the title with a time of 3:19.61, a season-best time for any Aggie relay team. Also on the winning squad, sophomore Garen Earley ran first, freshman Braden Kram ran third and junior Samuel Wing anchored.

Senior thrower David Hirschmann won the shot put title with a heave of 16.57m (54-4.50) for his second event title this season.
