ACADEMIC ALL-BIG WEST (2000 & 2001)

USU THIS SEASON: A very athletic player that is experienced and understands the system... Will be looked upon to be one of the leaders on the team as a senior... Has a 32-inch vertical jump... A tremendous passer and defensive player.

2001 SEASON (JR.): Named the Big West Conference Player of the Week on Oct. 15 after leading Utah State to a pair of home wins over then 12th-ranked Pacific and Cal State Northridge... Earned academic all-Big West honors for the second consecutive season... Started 24 matches on the season and played in 95 games... Finished the year with 225 kills and 250 digs, both of which ranked fourth on the team... Appeared in all but two games for USU as a junior hitting .163 on the season... Averaged 2.37 kills and 2.63 digs per game... Best match of the season came on Oct. 11 against No. 12 Pacific as she recorded career-highs in kills (23), attacks (54) and block assists (4)... Had a career-high 21 digs at Cal Poly and recorded 10-plus digs in 10 matches... Had 10-plus kills in 11 matchs on the year and nothced eight double-doubles.

2000 SEASON (R-SO.): Named academic all-Big West as a sophomore... Played in all but five matches for Utah State... Averaged 1.16 digs per game and had a season-high 10 digs versus Long Beach State... Hit .179 on the season in limited front row action.

1999 SEASON (SO.): Redshirted her first year at Utah State after transferring from Snow Junior College.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a two-time first-team all-state selection at Mountain Crest High School... Was also named the team?s MVP for two consecutive years and was the team captain as a senior... Mountain Crest won three straight regional championships during her career... A 1998 Salt Lake Tribune Top Athlete selection... Named the Mountain Crest Athlete of the Year in 1998 as she also participated in softball and was a first-team all-state selection in basketball, averaging 15.5 points.
