USU THIS SEASON: A very good athlete with good size and tremendous mobility... can play in both the middle and outside... the tallest player on the team at 6’2”. 2000 (SO.): Played in 83 games and 31 matches in her first year at Utah State... averaged 1.47 kills and 0.88 blocks per game... also had 51 digs and 73 blocks on the season... best match of the season was at Washington State where she hit .346 (11-2-26) with five digs and five block assists... had 15 kills and four block assists against BYU in the second round of the NCAA Tournament... had four matches where she notched 10-plus kills... had a season-high eight blocks in her first match of the season against Kansas State... also had a season-high eight digs at Idaho State. PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Appeared in 117 games at Salt Lake Community College, as the Bruins finished with a 45-4 record and lost in five games to Miami Dade in the Junior College National Championship match... finished fifth on the team with a .319 hitting percentage and fourth with 202 kills... she also had 108 total blocks which was second on the squad. HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Won three letters at Bountiful High School for coach Jill Asay... had a season-high 26 kills at Cyprus High School... was an all-state selection her junior and senior seasons... also played basketball, averaging 21 points per game... was all-state in basketball as a junior and senior and the district MVP her junior and senior seasons.
