A very athletic player who can touch 10'1"... Can hit a variety of sets, plays great defense and is a very competitive player... Has a lot of raw physical talent.
2004 Season (Fr.):
Named to the Big West Conference all-freshman team as she averaged 2.22 kills, 0.70 digs and 0.56 blocks per game... Played in all 27 matches during the season and started 16, while appearing in 96 games... Finished the year tied for third on the team with 213 kills, and was also third on the team with 54 total blocks... Had double-digits in kills in 12 matches on the year and had a stretch in the middle of the season where she notched double-digits in kills in nine straight matches... Recorded a season-high 18 kills in a five-game win at UC Riverside on Oct. 16... Posted her only double-double of the season on Nov. 5 at Cal Poly as she notched 11 kills to go along with a season-high 10 digs... Her best match of the season was at UC Davis on Sept. 25 when she hit .429 (11-2-21) to go along with seven blocks... Had a season-high seven block assists and eight total blocks at Idaho on Sept. 23.
High School/Club:
Earned first-team all-state and all-region honors as a senior and second-team all-region honors as a junior at Granger High School... Also a two-time first-team all-region selection in basketball as she averaged 25 points per game as a junior to lead the state... Was a standout track athlete placing first in her region as a senior in the 300-meter hurdles and second in the long jump and 100-meter hurdles... Was a member of the Players Volleyball club team coached by Dave Richards.
