BOISE, Idaho - Utah State's women's volleyball team dropped a three-set match to Boise State here Thursday night by scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-22 to fall to 12-10 on the season and 3-6 in Western Athletic Conference play. BSU improves to 3-18 on the season and 3-6 in league play with the win.

Sophomore outside hitter Liz McArthur (St. George, Utah) had 12 kills and 13 digs to lead Utah State, while sophomore opposite side hitter Emily Kortsen (Hollister, Calif.) had seven kills and 13 digs.

Alisha King had 12 kills and hit .324 (12-1-34) to lead Boise State, while Sadie Maughan added 10 kills.

Utah State finished the match with a .148 (38-18-135) hitting percentage and Boise State hit .189 (44-19-132). BSU also hadsix more digs (69-63) and three more service aces (6-3) in the match, while USU had two more team blocks (5-3).

Utah State will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 24 when it plays at Idaho at 8 p.m. (MT).
