LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's volleyball team will compete in four tournaments this spring, including one on the USU campus, Aggie head coach Grayson DuBose announced Friday.

Utah State will begin its spring schedule on Saturday, March 27 at Southern Utah, before playing in a tournament hosted by the University of Utah on Saturday, April 3 along with BYU, Montana State, Salt Lake Community College, the College of Southern Idaho, Utah Valley and Weber State.

Utah State will then play at a tournament hosted by Utah Valley University on Saturday, April 10 along with Idaho State, Mesa State, Southern Utah, Utah and Weber State, and then host Idaho State and Salt Lake Community College in its own tournament on Saturday, April 17.

Utah State returns all six of its starters and 11 letterwinners from last year's team that concluded the season with a 15-14 record including a 6-10 mark in the Western Athletic Conference to finish in seventh-place.

Among its 11 returning letterwinners, six have earned various all-conference honors as junior outside hitter Liz McArthur was named to the WAC's second team in 2009, while senior middle blocker Katie Astle, senior setter Chelsea Fowles and senior libero Christine Morrill all earned second team all-WAC honors in 2008. Junior opposite side hitter Emily Kortsen was named to the WAC's all-freshman team in 2008, and senior middle blocker Danielle Taylor was named second team all-WAC in 2007.
