Volleyball Travels To Hawai'i This Weekend

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's women's volleyball team (5-2) will travel to Honolulu, Hawai'i this weekend to compete in the 2003 Sprint Hawai'i Invitational.
USU will open the tournament against the host Rainbow Wahine on Fri., Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. (MST), while Weber State will face Stanford at 8 p.m. (MST). The losers of the first two matches will meet on Sat., Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. (MST), while the winners of the first two matches will play at 10 p.m. (MST).
Hawai'i is currently ranked second in the country in the latest USA Today/AVCA top-25 poll with a 7-1 record, while the Cardinal are ranked fourth in the country with a 4-1 record. Weber State is currently 2-4 on the season, losing to the Aggies in three games in Ogden on Aug. 30.
Utah State is off to its best start (5-2) since the 1997 season when that team began the year with a 7-1 record.
