BOZEMAN, Mont. -
Utah State senior Amy Egan lead the women's team to a first-place finish at the Montana State Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Junior Seth Wold finished in second-place to lead the Aggie men to a third-place overall finish.
Egan finished the three-mile race in eighth-place with a time of 17:28.00, followed closely behind by fellow senior Stacie Dorius placed 11th and recorded a time of 17:37.00. Sophomore Erin Stratton came in 13th with a time of 17:41.00 and one second later junior Caroline Berry came in at 17:42.00 to finish 14th.
Wold finished the five-mile race in 24:36.00, while sophomore Jason Holt came in 13th with a time of 25:25.00. Freshman Chio Lopez finished with a time of 25:29.00 and took 16th.
Utah State continues action Saturday, Sept. 29 when they travel to Springfield, Oregon to run in the Oregon Invitational.
