LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's men and women's cross country teams will begin practice for the 2014 season on Monday, Aug. 18.

The Aggie harriers will open the season on Aug. 30 as host of the Aggie Invitational at the Innovation Campus Wellness Park in Logan, Utah.

Utah State enters its second season in the Mountain West, following a season in which the Aggie women finished fifth and their male counterparts placed sixth in the conference. USU was led at the Mountain West Championships by Eric Shellhorn and Ashley Robison. Shellhorn crossed the finish line in sixth to garner first-team all-Mountain West honors while Robison took 14th to earn a spot on the second-team all-conference squad. Both the men and women's team finished 11th at the NCAA Mountain Regionals.

Utah State returns 13 runners to the women's team, while the men's team has 10 athletes coming back who competed for the Aggies in 2013.
