Utah State Cross Country Continues 2011 Season At Notre Dame Invitational Friday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State cross country will continue its fall season this weekend as they travel to South Bend, Ind., for the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday. The Aggie's will compete in the Blue Division with the women starting at 2:15 p.m. (MDT) and the men running at 3:00 p.m. (MDT).
Utah Statse will compete against No. 3 Stanford, No. 10 Florida State, No. 12 Princeton, No. 14 BYU, No. 21 New Mexico , No. 23 Notre Dame, No. 25 Ohio State and No. 26 Eastern Kentucky. Weber State will join the Aggies and Cougars in representing the state of Utah as Fresno State and USU will represent the Western Athletic Conference.
Currently the Aggie men are ranked No. 7 in the Mountain Region while the women sit at No. 15.
Utah State's men and women are coming off second-place finishes at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman, Mont. on Sept. 17. Senior Brian McKenna won the men's five-mile race with a time of 24:27.00 on pace to being named the America First Credit Union Utah State Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Sept. 18, along with being honored with the WAC athlete of the week for the same period.
Action continues for the Aggie men and women's cross country teams as they compete in the Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, Oct. 14 in Madison, Wis., in final preparation for the WAC Cross Country Championships that will be held in Honolulu, Hawai'i on Oct. 29.
