Consistent practice habits and maturity day in and out, both on and off the court, will be the key to his success... A very good perimeter shooter.
2007 Season:
Redshirted during his first year at Utah State after transferring from Ohio State University.
Previous School:
Played in seven games as a true freshman for Ohio State and averaged 1.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game... Scored a season-high six points against Penn State on two-of-three shooting and grabbed a season-high five rebounds against Norfolk State... For the year, he shot 26.7 percent from the field (4-15), 14.3 percent from three-point range (1-7), and 50.0 percent from the free throw line (1-2).
High School:
Earned 5A first-team all-state honors as a senior at Brighton High School as he averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists per game... Was named one of the top centers in the West by Prephoops.com, and one of the top 100 high school seniors nationwide by several recruiting services... Finished his senior season with 447 points and scored 20-plus points in a game 11 times, including two 30-point outings... Earned all-region and second-team all-state honors as a prep junior as he averaged 18 points and nine rebounds per game in leading Brighton High School to the semifinals of the state tournament... Also played in the USA Development Festival as a junior

Full name is Brayden Eric Bell... Born Sept. 4, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah... One of two children of Craig and Chari Bell... Majoring in physical education/exercise science... His dad played basketball at the University of Utah in 1980 and 1982.
