During his four-year prep career at Corvallis (Mont.) High School, he was named the South West `A' Conference Most Valuable Player three times, was a three-time all-state and super all-state selection, and a four-time first-team all-conference member... He also led his conference in scoring and assists in each of his four years of high school... As a prep senior, he earned Bitterroot Valley Player of the Year honors as he averaged 24.1 points, 7.1 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 53.8 percent from the field (128-238), 38.0 percent from three-point range (46-121) and 80.6 percent at the free throw line (112-139)... As a junior, he averaged approximately 25.0 points, 8.0 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game and scored a career-high 41 points against Stevensville High School, as he was 6-of-7 from three-point range and 11-for-13 from the free throw line... Was ranked the 50th-best point guard in the nation by ESPN.com following his junior season... Averaged nearly 23.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game as a sophomore, and averaged almost 15.0 points per game as a freshman.
