A tremendous athlete that can score the ball from anywhere on the floor... Needs to mature both mentally and physically, as do most freshmen... Has the tools to be a very good wing defender... Is left-handed.

Helped lead Sunrise Christian Academy to a 26-2 record during his senior season as he averaged 18.3 points, 4.6 assists, 3.8 steals and 3.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 53.7 percent from the field, 48.6 percent from three-point range and 79.7 percent at the free throw line... Earned first-team all-metro, all-conference and all-state honors as a senior... Scored in double-figures 27 times during his senior year including a career-high 32 points... Was named the Most Valuable Player of three tournaments as a senior and was named to two other all-tournament teams... Was also a running back and wide receiver on his high school's state championship football team that went 11-0 his senior year... Also won a state championship in baseball as a prep senior playing shortstop and pitcher... Set the school and conference record in the triple jump with a mark of 45'10"... Was a member of the honor roll his senior year.

Full name is Leon Alexander Cooper, Jr... Born February 20, 1991 in Freeport, Bahamas... One of four children of Leon, Sr. and Queenie Cooper... Enjoys listening to music... Majoring in sociology.
