* 2000 Big West All-First Team

THIS SEASON: Quite possibly the best returning player in the Big West Conference... Has some of the softest hands around to go along with good foot work in the post... Uncanny ability to block shots despite being only 6-6... Not only a solid offensive player, but a tremendous defensive player... A great ball handler that can bring the ball up on both fast breaks and against presses... A knack for anticipating passes and registering steals.

2000 (JR.): Was a first-team all-Big West selection... Named the Big West Conference "Newcomer of the Year" by Street & Smith's Basketball Magazine... Tied his season-high with 17 points versus Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA Tournament... Named co-MVP of the Big West Tournament with teammate Troy Rolle... In the three-game Big West Tournament he averaged 9.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, shot 57.1 percent from the field and had nine blocks... Had just one rebound (a seson-low) in first round game with Pacific, but followed that with 10 rebounds against Nevada and nine against New Mexico State in last two games... Named the Big West Conference Player of the Week on Jan. 24 after leading USU to its first conference road sweep in two years... He had 14 points and 10 rebounds versus UC Santa Barbara before notching 16 points, 17 rebounds, five blocks and four steals versus Cal Poly... On the season he averaged 12.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, 58 blocks and 47 steals in 34 games... Also shot 58.1 percent from the field... Lead the team in every category except steals, where he was second... Scored in double figures in 26-of-34 games and had seven double-doubles... Had 10 or more rebounds in nine different games... Had the most double-doubles and 10 rebound games in the league... Finished second in the league in field goal percentage (.581), tied for first in rebounds (7.9), and second in blocks (58)... That 58.1 FG percentage was 19th best in the country... His 58 blocks ties for first on the USU single-season blocks list with Gilbert Pete, and his 267 rebounds was the 20th most... Also named the MVP of the Gossner Foods Classic after scoring 16 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and blocking four shots in the championship game versus San Diego... Recorded his first career double-double versus Northern Arizona with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Was a two-time all-Western State Conference selection in junior college... Averaged 17.7 points, 11.4 rebounds. 2.8 blocks and 1.7 steals in his two-year career... Also shot 59.2 percent from the field... Durning his 66-game career he recorded 44 double-doubles and was the team's second leading scorer in both his freshman and sophomore seasons... He registered 13 20-point games as a sophomore and scored a career-high 31 points vs. Butte College... Had a career-rebounding high of 19 vs. Canyons and blocked nine shots against Canyons in a different game... He averaged 17.6 points and 10.5 rebounds as a freshman and 17.7 points and 11.7 rebounds as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 24 points and 13 rebounds his senior y ear at Highland High School... Was a two-time Player of the Year and an all-league and all-conference selection his senior season... Led his club to a 28-5 record and the Valley Championship during his senior campaign.
