Junior College:
Earned first-team all-conference honors as a sophomore at Compton College after averaging 13.3 points and 3.5 assists per game... Played his freshman season at L.A. Valley Junior College.
High School:
Was named his team’s MVP his senior season after averaging 18.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game as Grover Cleveland advanced to the quarterfinals of the city tournament... Earned first-team all-conference honors as a prep senior... Had career-highs of 27 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists against Birmingham High School... Also made seven three-pointers in that game.
