Has had a solid career at Utah State, but is expected to have an even better senior season... A tough, hard-nosed player with tremendous work ethic... A very good defender with excellent range... 2005 Season (Jr.):
Started two games at point guard and played in all 32 during the season for Utah State... Averaged 3.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 35.3 percent from both the field and three-point range, and 76.9 percent from the free throw line... Finished the year third on the team with 70 assists and 30 made three-pointers, while his 85 three-point attempts were also the third-most on the team... Scored a career-high 14 points against Cal Poly on Jan. 8 as he was four-of-five from three-point range in the game... Also scored in double-figures at UC Irvine as he was four-of-five from the field and three-of-four from three-point range as he finished with 11 points... Played a career-high 41 minutes in a double-overtime loss at Pacific on Jan. 13 in his first start of the season... Played an average of 18.5 minutes per game off the bench... Recorded four or more assists in eight games during the season... Finished the year second on the team with four charges taken... An academic all-Big West selection.
2004 Season (So.):
Played in all 29 games and started one in his first season at Utah State... Averaged 3.9 points, 1.8 assists and 1.1 rebounds while shooting 36.8 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from three-point range, and 65.4 percent from the free throw line... Finished third on the team with 25 made three-pointers and fourth on the team with 52 assists... Scored a season-high nine points at Cal State Fullerton and had a season-high six assists at UC Riverside... Played a season-high 32 minutes against UC Irvine... Recorded four or more assists in five games during the season.
Started 29 games at point guard for Dixie State College in St. George, Utah as the Rebels finished the season with a 30-6 record and a third-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament... Averaged 8.4 points, 3.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game as a freshman... Shot 39.2 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from three-point range.
A three-time first-team all-state selection at Bear River High School in Garland, Utah... Led his team to the 3A state championship during his senior season in 1999... Averaged just under 17 points per game during his senior year.
