Played in all 32 games, one of four Aggies to play in all 32 games... Made five starts... Averaged 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 points and 0.2 blocks, while playing 11.9 minutes per game... Shot team-high 60.8 percent (31-of-51) field goal percentage, while netting 65.7 percent (23-of-35) of free throws..... Earned the USU team award for Best Defender Award, as voted on by teammates... Made first start of season and fourth of career in Western Illinois game (11/19/13), posting four points and four rebounds, to go with a season-high two blocks and one steal in a season-high 17 minutes... Started five games from 12/19/13 - 1/1/14, giving him eight career starts... Netted double-digits for the first time in career with career-high 12 points against San Diego Christian (12/28/13)... Just missed career-high scoring outing in USC game (11/8), netting eight points, while pulling down five rebounds and tying career-high with one steal... Added seven points and one rebound in only eight minutes of action in Southern Utah game (11/12/13), as well as six points and five rebounds against San Diego State (1/25/14) in playing season-high 24 minutes... Pulled down season-high six rebounds against Mississippi State (11/23/13), adding four points on 4-of-4 at the free throw line... Had five games this season and 16 career games with five or more points... Posted five or more rebounds in seven games this season and 16 career games... Tied career-high of two steals twice this season with two each in Mississippi State (11/23/13) and Colorado State (1/15/14) games... Saw action in 27 games, making one start, against Texas State (3/7)... Averaged 2.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.4 blocks per game while playing 11.8 minutes of action per game... Made 47.6 percent field goal shooting (20-of-42), as well as 55.8 percent at the free throw line (29-of-52)... Had a career night against BYU (2/19), setting four new season highs, as well as set or tying four career-best marks, by recording new season-high nine points, tying his career-high, while also posting new career-bests with two assists and four blocks in a career-best 25 minutes... Logged six points and five rebounds with two assists in Illinois State game (2/23), adding three rebounds at Louisiana Tech (2/28), along with three points and five rebounds at UT Arlington (3/2), then notched six points, six rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist in lone start of season against Texas State (3/7), adding a career-high 6-of-10 outing at the charity stripe... Posted his season-high scoring output in back-to-back games against New Mexico State (2/16) and BYU (2/19), as nine points at BYU bettered previous season-high of six points set against NMSU, and also grabbed a season-high seven rebounds against NMSU and was one rebound shy of tying his career-best eight, while playing a previous season-high 20 minutes... Posted five or more points in seven games for the year... Snared three or more rebounds in 15 games on season, including eight in a row near end of season... Came up big in Idaho home game (1/5), blocking one shot and snaring three rebounds in critical times, and then was huge in win at Idaho (1/31), scoring four points, including first dunk of season, and played a huge role in defensive success in last three road wins... In addition to BYU game, also had multiple blocked shots against Texas State (3/7), one of six games with at least one rejection, including averaging one blocked shot per game in each of the last eight regular-season games... 2011-12 SEASON (FR):
Played in 34 games, starting two, during his first season at Utah State... His two starts were in consecutive games at home against Utah Valley (12/6) and at Wichita State (12/10)... Finished the season averaging 2.1 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game... Shot 60.5 percent from the field (26-of-43) and 48.6 percent at the free throw line (18-of-37)... Posted career-high nine points against Louisiana Tech (3/8) in the quarterfinals of the WAC Tournament as he was 3-of-4 from the field and 3-for-4 at the free throw line... Had career-highs of eight rebounds against both Utah Valley (12/6) and UC Santa Barbara (2/18), and recorded five-plus rebounds five times during the year... Played a career-high 23 minutes at Pacific (12/3)... Led the team in rebounding twice during the year... Ranked third on the team with six dunks... Earned academic all-WAC honors.
Earned first-team all-state honors from the Salt Lake Tribune and second-team all-state honors from the Deseret News as a senior at Sky View (Utah) High School during the 2007-08 season as he averaged approximately 18.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, while shooting 58.0 percent from the field and 77.0 percent at the free throw line... During his senior year, he scored a career-high 40 points and had a career-high 23 rebounds in the same game against Highland (Idaho) High School... Also earned all-region honors as a prep senior and was his team's Most Valuable Player as both a junior and senior.
