Has a nice touch around the basket and is a good shot blocker... Should have a much larger role on the team as a senior with a year of Division I experience under his belt.
2004 Season (R-Jr.):
Played in 18 games on the season, including 10 league contests... Averaged 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game... Began the season by scoring five points to go along with a season-high 11 rebounds and four blocks against Fort Lewis College in 18 minutes off the bench... Had a season-high seven points at Long Beach State to go along with four rebounds in 12 minutes... Shot 66.7 percent from the field (12-18) and free throw line (8-12).
2003 Season (RS):
Redshirted his first year at Utah State.
A two-time all-conference, all-division and all-region selection at Fergus Falls (Minn.) Junior College... Averaged 17 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a sophomore... Shot 56.7 percent from the field and 77.3 percent from the free throw line... Named MVP of his team as a sophomore... Averaged 13 points and eight rebounds as a freshman.
Averaged 14 points and eight rebounds per game during his senior year... A two-time all-conference selection... Also an all-state track athlete in the high jump... Heavily recruited out of high school by a number of Big 10 and Big 12 schools to compete in the high jump.
