Post-Game Notes vs. Fresno State (1/3/18)

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State improves to 7-0 this season and 33-6 under head coach Tim Duryea when leading at the half as USU had a 39-35 advantage at intermission tonight.
* Utah State improved to 57-46 all-time in overtime games, including a 25-12 home record. Overall, USU has won its last two overtime games as its last overtime game was in an 80-79 road win at Utah Valley on Dec. 10, 2016.
* Utah State scored 81 points and improved to 8-1 this season and 36-8 under Duryea when scoring at least 70 points. USU also improved to 22-4 under Duryea when scoring at least 80 points.
* Utah State improved to 6-2 this season when it out-rebounds its opponent as it had a 37-28 advantage on the boards tonight.
* Utah State had four players score in double-figures for the sixth time this season.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
* Sophomore guard Koby McEwen (1) scored in double-figures for the third-straight game, seventh time this season and 31st time overall with his career-high-tying 28 points in a career-best 41 minutes. It is also the fifth time this year and 12th time in his career he has scored 20-plus points in a game.
* Senior forward Alex Dargenton (11) scored in double-figures for the fifth time this season and ninth time in his career with his season-high 13 points.
* Sophomore guard Sam Merrill (3) scored in double-figures for the fifth-straight game, 13th time this season and 27th time in his career with his 16 points in a career-best 40 minutes. Merrill also had a season-high five rebounds marking the eighth time in his career he has grabbed at least five boards in a game.
* Junior forward Dwayne Brown Jr. (25) scored in double-figures for the fifth time this season with his 11 points and dished out a career-high four assists in a career-best 36 minutes. Brown also had seven rebounds marking the 10th time this season he has grabbed at least five boards.
* Sophomore guard Diogo Brito (24) had his third dunk of the season and his career.
* Junior forward Quinn Taylor (10) had one blocked shot and has now had at least one block in six straight games. Taylor also had nine rebounds marking the seventh time this year and 29th time in his career he has grabbed at least five boards in a game.
