Post-Game Notes vs. Colorado State (1/10/18)

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State falls to 2-8 on the season when trailing at the half as Colorado State held a 41-31 lead at intermission.
* Utah State had its five-game home winning streak snapped tonight and is now 7-2 at home this season.
* Utah State is now 9-2 on the season and 37-9 under head coach Tim Duryea when scoring 70-plus points in a game.
* Colorado State’s 84 points are the most allowed by Utah State this season and it is just the second time this year that USU has allowed 80 points in a game (83 by Portland State).
* Utah State attempted 32 treys tonight, marking the fourth time this season it has attempted at least 30 treys in a game. Overall, USU was 11-of-32 from 3-point range as those 11 made treys mark the seventh time this season that USU has made double-digit 3-pointers.
* Utah State had a player score at least 20 points in six of its last seven games prior to tonight.
* Utah State did not block a shot for the first time in 11 games.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
* Sophomore guard Sam Merrill (3) scored in double-figures for the seventh-straight game, 15th time this season and 29th time in his career with his 18 points. Merrill also tied his career-high with three steals.
* Sophomore guard Koby McEwen (1) scored in double-figures for the fifth-straight game, ninth time this season and 33rd time in his career with his 11 points. McEwen also tied his season-high with seven rebounds marking the fifth time this year and 26th time in his career he has grabbed at least five boards in a game.
* Redshirt freshman forward Daron Henson (23) scored in double-figures for the second-straight game and fourth time this year with his career-high-tying 12 points. Henson also had five rebounds marking the second time this year he has grabbed at least five boards in a game.
* Senior forward Alex Dargenton (11) had his team-leading ninth dunk of the season.
* Redshirt freshman guard Abel Porter (30) took his second charge of the season.
