LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Curtis Bobb scored 18 points and reserve Dion Bailey came off the bench to score 10 to lead Utah State to a 73-59 win over Pacific on Saturday.

The game was a hard-fought defensive battle, which included several offensive fouls, a flagrant foul and a bench-clearing shoving match at the end of the first half.

Utah State (14-2 overall, 4-0 Big West Conference)took its first double-digit lead of the game with 6:06 left when Bobb hit a 3-pointer.

The Aggies were able to break the Tigers' full-court defense and went 6-for-7 from the line in the closing 1:30 to seal the win.

Pacific (10-5, 2-2) was led in scoring by Mike Hahn with 12 and Tom Cockle, who had 10 points.

Shawn Daniels, the Aggies' 6-foot-6 center, had seven blocks in the game, and the team tallied 12 blocks, a school record.

Utah State shot 44 percent from the field but held the Tigers to 39 percent shooting.

It was Utah State's 23rd straight conference win and 16th straight win at home.
