Team Notes

∙ With the loss, Utah State is now 3-8 all-time against San Diego State and has lost eight straight.

∙ Utah State trailed San Diego State 41-34 at the half. The Aggies are now 2-7 on the year when trailing at the half.

∙ San Diego State shot 57.1 percent (28-of-49) from the floor, the highest field goal percentage allowed by the Aggies this season.

∙ Utah State opponents have shot better than 50 percent from the floor in three of the last four games.

∙ Utah State shot 38.0 percent (19-of-50) from the floor, just the fourth time this season that the Aggies have shot less than 40 percent from the floor.

Individual Notes

∙ Freshman guard Sam Merrill scored a career-high 18 points, his fourth consecutive games in double figures and sixth of his career. Merrill also led the Aggies with three assits.

∙ Senior wing Jalen Moore scored 13 points, his 30th consecutive game in double figures and 78th of his career, tying Nate Harris (2003-06) for seventh all-time in school history.

∙ Redshirt sophomore forward Alex Dargenton led the Aggies on the glass, recording seven rebounds.
