USU head coach Tim Duryea:
"I'm really proud of them. It's kind of become a broken record up here. We lead, we lead, we lead, we lead and we don't close it out. It's really frustrating. They're frustrated, I'm frustrated. We did a lot of really good things in terms of what we were trying to accomplish, in terms of guarding (Chandler) Hutchison, game plan. You're not going to hold him down for 40 minutes. He, obviously, hurt us late in the game. Really, it kind of came down to a two-and-a-half, three-minute basketball game. We had open looks and missed and they had a couple guys that jumped up and made some shots, him being a guy that made a couple tough ones. It's really what it came down to. We had three or four careless turnovers that obviously you'd like to have back, possessions where we didn't get a shot that were really unforced errors where you'd like to have those four possessions back and it might be a difference. We missed some really good looks at the end. Really good looks that probably would have put us over the hump."

USU sophomore guard Sam Merrill:
"Obviously, it's a disappointing loss for us. We played pretty well, gave ourselves a chance, had a lot of chances, good, good looks right at the end of the game, including myself with the layup, and just didn't convert. It's frustrating and disappointing."
