∙ With the loss, Utah State is now 22-9 all-time against New Mexico, including a 6-4 record in Albuquerque.

∙ Utah State trailed New Mexico 32-29 at the half and is now 2-9 on the year when trailing at the break.

∙ New Mexico shot 50.0 percent (27-of-54), marking the sixth time an opponent has shot 50 percent or better against the Aggies. USU is 1-5 in those games.

∙ Utah State recorded nine assists, marking the third consecutive game with single-digit helpers.

Individual Notes

∙ Freshman guard Koby McEwen scored 17 points, marking his second consecutive game in double figures. In all, McEwen has scored in double figures 15 times this season.

∙ McEwen also added seven rebounds, his 12th game this season with five or more rebounds.

∙ The game marked the third time this season that McEwen has led the Aggies in both scoring and rebounding in a game.

∙ Senior wing Jalen Moore scored 14 points, marking his 32nd consecutive game in double figures, tying Brian Jackson (1979-81) and Marvin Roberts (1969-71) for the seventh-longest streak in USU history. Furthermore, Moore has scored in double figures 80 times in his career, tying Eric Franson (1991, 94-96) for sixth all-time in Utah State history.

∙ Moore also recorded seven rebounds, his 12th game this season and 66th game in his career with five or more rebounds.


 

 

∙ Redshirt sophomore forward Alexis Dargenton recorded a career-high four blocks, playing in a career-high 34 minutes.
