Team Notes

  • Utah State used its seventh different starting lineup of the season – Koby McEwen, Sam Merrill, Diogo Brito, Daron Henson, Alex Dargenton.
  • Utah State trailed 46-33 at the half and are now 2-12 on the year when behind at the intermission.
  • Utah State used a 10-man rotation, its largest rotation since Jan. 13 when the Aggies used a 10-man rotation at Nevada.
  • Wyoming finished the game shooting 50.0 percent (29-of-58) from the field, just the third team in conference play to shoot 50 percent or better against the Aggies this season.
  • Utah State’s bench scored 26 points, the most by the Aggie reserves since December 20 against Youngstown State.

Individual Notes

  • Sophomore guard Sam Merrill scored in double figures for sixth consecutive game, 21st time this season and 35th time in his career, finishing the game with 12 points.
  • Junior guard DeAngelo Isby scored in double figures for the 11th time this season, finishing the game with 16 points and appearing in his first contest in four games.
  • Redshirt freshman forward Daron Henson tied his career high with six rebounds during the game, marking his third game this season with five or more rebounds.
  • Sophomore guard Diogo Brito recorded five rebounds during the game, marking the sixth time this season and in his career logging five or more rebounds in a contest.
  • Sophomore guard Koby McEwen led Utah State with two steals, marking his third consecutive game with multiple steals.
  • Senior forward Alex Dargenton recorded his team-leading 10th dunk of the year during the game.
