Utah State Head Coach Stew Morrill...
"It feels good to win a homestand. It's been awhile, so those were a good couple of wins for us. We knew Boise State was going to be a very tough game. As everybody knows, they've got five starters back from an NCAA Tournament team. It's a good win for us. We had a hard time stopping them, but they had a little bit of a harder time stopping us. It was an offensive type basketball game in a lot of ways. I think both teams were really trying to guard each other, but it was difficult. We had a lot of guys play well. A lot of guys did good things. Believe it or not, we're in a pretty dang good frame of mind right now. At the start of the week we talked about the second half of league, having some energy and not cashing it in. We said we needed to keep playing and see what we could do in the second half of league and fortunately we're off to a 2-0 start. Hopefully we've regrouped and we can go play well on the road."

Sophomore Forward Kyle Davis...
"All throughout practice this week, Jarred (Shaw) and I just recognized that we needed to have a presence down low. We've got great shooters in Preston (Medlin) and Spencer (Butterfield), but we can only help them by getting our game going and that's what we tried to do. It was good to be out there the whole time against them for sure. I've spent a lot of time practicing free throws and I'm trying to step up with a lot more confidence. That's been a big relief and a positive thing for us these past few games."

Senior Guard Preston Medlin...
"It was good. Jarred and Kyle did a great job inside tonight. We got it into them and then they had good placement and didn't settle for staying outside and shooting jumpshots. They got into the lane and made some good shots. That kind of brought everybody in. We were able to drive and they were sticking to the post. It was good for us. The three-point shot at the start of the second half was good for us and really got us going. Last time we played Boise State they did a great job on offensive glass against us, (Ryan) Watkins especially. I felt like we did a pretty good job on him and in general. It was good for our team."

Boise State Head Coach Leon Rice...
"They've been a really good second half offense, especially here. They're just so efficient at running their stuff, they direct the ball to the right spots and they've got good players who make shots. Where we have to improve is that we have to be able to get some stops."
