Post-Game Notes vs. Boise State (2/10/18)

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State improved to 3-12 this season when trailing at the half as Boise State held a 34-27 lead at intermission.
* Utah State is now 10-3 at home this season under head coach Tim Duryea.
* Utah State improved to 31-15 all-time against Boise State, including a 19-3 mark at home. BSU had won six straight games in the series prior to tonight.
* Utah State is now 5-6 on the season when it gets out-rebounded as Boise State had a 35-25 advantage on the glass. In fact, USU’s 25 rebounds are its third-fewest in a game this season.
* Utah State is now 12-3 on the season and 40-10 under Duryea when scoring 70-plus points in a game. USU also improved to 8-1 this season and 27-6 under Duryea when holding its opponent to less than 69 points.
* Utah State had four double-figure scores for the ninth time this season and is now 7-2 in those games.
* Utah State’s 17 assists are tied for the fourth-most in a game this season and USU is now 5-1 on the season when it has at least 17 assists in a game.
* Utah State’s 10 steals are tied for its second-most in a game this season.
* Utah State held Boise State to just 31.3 percent (5-of-16) shooting from 3-point range, marking the 11th time this season USU has held its opponent to 32.0 percent shooting or worse from behind the arc.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
* Sophomore guard Koby McEwen (1) has now scored in double-figures 15 times this season and 39 times in his career with his 23 points. Overall, it is the ninth time this year and 16th time in his career he has scored at least 20 points. McEwen also had five assists in the game marking the sixth time this year and 14th time in his career he has dished out at least five assists in a game. McEwen also had his first two dunks of the season in the game.
* Sophomore guard Sam Merrill (3) scored in double-figures for the seventh-straight game, 22nd time this season and 36th time in his career with his 12 points. Merrill also tied his career-high with three steals.
* Junior forward Dwayne Brown Jr. scored in double-figures for the 12th time this season with his 10 points to go along with six rebounds marking the 15th time this season he has grabbed at least five boards in a game.
* Sophomore guard Diogo Brito (24) scored a career-high 16 points and has now scored in double-figures six times this season and in his career. He also had his fifth dunk of the season.
* Junior forward Quinn Taylor (10) grabbed five rebounds marking the 11th time this year and 33rd time in his career he has grabbed at least five boards in a game.
