 Team Notes

Individual Notes

  • Sophomore guard Sam Merrill scored in double figures for the eighth straight game, 23rd time this season and 37th time in his career, finishing the game with a career-high 33 points. Merrill recorded career highs of 11 field goals and seven 3-point field goals.
  • Merrill is the second Aggie to score 30 or more points in a game this season, as Koby McEwen scored 31 points against the Lobos in Logan.
  • Merrill’s total was his first 30-point outing of his career and marked his sixth 20-point outing this season and seventh 20-point outing of his career.
  • Sophomore guard Koby McEwen scored in double figures for the second straight game, the 16th time this season and 40th time in his career, finishing with 10 points.
  • McEwen also finished the game with six rebounds, his 12th game this season and 33rd game in his career with five or more rebounds.
  • Defensively, McEwen recorded his first block of the year and a steal in his fifth consecutive game.
  • Sophomore guard Diogo Brito finished the game with a career-high-tying seven rebounds, marking his ninth game this season and in his career with five or more rebounds.
  • Junior forward Dwayne Brown Jr. finished the game with five rebounds, marking his 16th game this season and in his career with five or more rebounds.
  • Junior forward Quinn Taylor recorded his seventh and eighth dunk and drew his fifth charge of the season.
