Utah State's 41 rebounds are its 11th game this season with 40 or more rebounds.
USU is now 16-7 when out-rebounding the opposition.
The Aggies' streak of shooting better than 40.0 percent was snapped at six in a row with its 35.7 percent shooting Thursday.
USU's 18.8 percent (3-of-16) from three-point range tied its second-lowest of the season, also shooting 3-of-16 against Saint Mary's on Nov. 15 and behind its season-low 14.3 percent against Denver on Feb. 14.
Utah State's 81.8 percent (18-of-22) free throw percentage was its eighth game shooting 80.0 percent or better at the charity stripe.
Louisiana Tech's 84 points scored were the most scored by a USU opponent this season, topping the previous high of 78 by Santa Clara (Nov. 28), and the most since by Hawai'i on Jan. 29, 2011 in an 89-84 2OT USU win. It was the most points scored in regulation since 84 by Nevada on Feb. 28, 2009, in an 84-71 USU loss.
LA Tech made 11 three-pointers Thursday, tying the most by an opponent for the third time this season, most recently in last game by Illinois State on Feb. 23.
The Bulldogs' 52.4 three-point percentage was just shy of the season-high by a USU opponent of 52.6 percent, done twice, most recently at Idaho (Jan. 31).
LA Tech's 26-point halftime lead was USU's largest halftime gap of the season while the Bulldogs' 31-point second-half lead in the second half was the Aggies' largest deficit this season.
Sophomore forward Ben Clifford tied his career-high by netting 14 points for the second time in the last five games, also tallying 14 points vs. Denver (Feb. 14).
Clifford tallied double-digits for the fourth time this season and seventh time of his career.
Clifford led USU with nine rebounds, tying his second-most of his career, just behind the 10 boards he had at Seattle (Feb. 2) and matching the nine boards he posted against UT Arlington (Jan. 24) and against Loyola Marymount (March 21, 2012).
Junior center Jarred Shaw posted double-digit points for the ninth-straight game and 22nd total time this season.
Shaw was also 6-of-6 at the free throw line for the second time this season, matching his charity stripe effort from the Denver game on Jan. 19, and made all his free throws for the fourth time, going 2-of-2 against Weber State (Nov. 24) and 3-of-3 at Idaho (Jan. 31).
Shaw matched his career-best of two steals, Thursday, matching his two swipes at Texas State on Jan. 31.
Junior guard TeNale Roland posted double-figures for the second game in a row and the fourth time this season with 12 points Thursday, just behind his career-best 13 points scored last game vs. Illinois State on Feb. 23.
Roland also pulled down a career-best seven rebounds, bettering his pervious his of five done twice, most recently last game vs. Illinois State on Feb. 23.
Junior guard/forward Marvin Jean tied his career-high with three blocks Thursday, matching his three rejections from UT Arlington game (Jan. 24).
