Post-Game Notes vs. Mississippi Valley State (11/15/17)

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State improved to 1-0 this season and 27-6 under head coach Tim Duryea when leading at the half as USU had a 33-28 advantage at intermission tonight.
* Utah State scored a season-high 83 points and improved to 2-0 this season and 30-7 under head coach Tim Duryea when scoring at least 70 points. USU also improved to 18-4 under Duryea when scoring at least 80 points.
* Utah State improved to 2-0 this season and 27-9 under Duryea when outrebounding its opponent as USU had a 39-31 advantage on the glass tonight.
* Utah State made a season-high 18 free throws and attempted 25 free throws, its second-most in a game this year.
* Utah State made a season-high 13 3-pointers marking the second time this season and the 21st time under Duryea that USU has made at least 10 treys in a game. USU also shot a season-high 35 treys.
* Utah State had a season-low seven turnovers and a season-high 18 assists. It is the first time this season that USU had single-digit turnovers.
* Utah State had a season-high 10 steals tonight after recording seven combined steals in its first two games.
* Utah State held Mississippi Valley State to 47 points and 32.0 percent (16-50) shooting from the field both season-lows for an Aggie opponent.

PLAYER NOTES
* Sophomore guard Koby McEwen (1) scored in double-figures for the second-straight game and 26th time in his career with his 11 points. McEwen also had five assists, marking the ninth time in his career he has dished out at least five assists in a game.
* Junior guard DeAngelo Isby (0) scored in double-figures for the third-straight game to start his Aggie career with 17 points. Isby also added season-highs with five rebounds, three steals and two assists.
* Redshirt freshman forward Daron Henson (23) scored in double-figures for the first time in his career with his 12 points. He also grabbed a season-high six rebounds in a season-best 14 minutes.
* Redshirt freshman guard Abel Porter (30) scored a season-high five points.
* Senior forward Alex Dargenton (11) tied his career-high with two steals.
* Junior forward Dwayne Brown Jr. (25) scored a season-high nine points and had his first dunk of the season.
* Senior forward Alex Dargenton (11) had his first dunk of the season and the 16th of his career.
* Sophomore guard Sam Merrill (3) scored in double-figures for the first time this season and 15th time in his career with his 10 points. He also had a season-high five assists, marking the ninth time in his career he has dished out at least five assists in a game. It is also the seventh time in his career he has had at least five assists with no turnovers.
* Junior forward Quinn Taylor (10) had a season-high six rebounds.
