Team Notes

- Utah State is now 12-0 all-time against Utah Valley, including a perfect 6-0 mark in Orem.

- Utah State is 2-0 on the road this season and 7-8 overall in road contests under head coach Tim Duryea.

- Utah State picked up its first victory of the season when being outshot, as Utah Valley shot 44.4 percent (28-of-63) to the Aggies’ 40.8 percent (29-of-71).

- Utah State trailed 38-32 at the half and is now 1-2 this season when trailing at the half. The victory was the first for USU under head coach Tim Duryea when trailing at the half.

- The overtime game was the first for USU since the 2014-15 season. The Aggies are 56-45 all-time in overtime contests.

- Utah State recorded a season-high 11 steals, the first double-digit steal game for the Aggies this season.

Individual Notes

- Freshman guard Koby McEwen scored in double figures for the sixth time this season with a career-high 21. McEwen also recorded six rebounds, marking the fifth time he has recorded more than five rebounds in a game this season.

- Senior guard Shane Rector scored in double figures for the fourth consecutive game, the sixth time this season and 20th time in his career with a season-high 18 points.

- Rector’s free throws were the third time during his career that he has won the game for the Aggies from the free throw line. All three games came on the road at Weber State (11/13/15) and at Missouri State (12/1/15).

- Senior wing Jalen Moore scored in double figures for the 22nd consecutive game, ninth time this season and 70th time in his career with his 15 points. The streak is the longest since Jaycee Carroll scored double figures in 39 consecutive games (2007-08)



- Moore increased his career point total to 1,266 points, tying Bob Lauriski (1971-73) for No. 20 all-time on the USU scoring list.
